Dr. Ivan Kimuli is an Internal Medicine Physician and Public Health Specialist at the College of Health Sciences with extensive experience in infectious diseases and outbreak settings. He has played a pivotal role in managing and controlling infectious disease outbreaks, contributing valuable insights and strategies to mitigate the spread of resistant pathogens. His contributions to public health policy and his hands-on experience in outbreak settings make him a vital asset in the fight against antimicrobial resistance. With a commitment to advancing healthcare and public health, he brings a wealth of knowledge and a proactive approach to addressing one of the most pressing challenges in modern medicine.

Ivan is leading the CEIs activities, epidemiological methods developing, data analyses, support developing the intervention usage guidelines, support training and skilling of CEIs and health stakeholders of the NIAMR intervention.
